I know that quite a few Guitar Fam members expressed the desire for some more modern tunes in the songs library. With that in mind, we are happy to bring you this lesson on the guitar solo for the Ed Sheeran song “Thinking Out Loud”.

This is a great solo to learn if you are pushing yourself toward a late beginner or early intermediate level of lead guitar. It’s got a Jimi Hendrix or John Mayer vibe, and it’s ideal for learning how to solo with major pentatonic scales. The lesson is complete with video, TAB, and jam track here on this page.
