Welcome to this cover song lesson where we are looking at the Billie Eilish song “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie. The lesson is complete with video, TAB, and two jam tracks to download.  

This song was originally performed on piano, so I had to come up with a fingerstyle accompaniment arrangement to mimic the recording. If you want to stick to some simple strumming, it qualifies as an easy song because you can play the whole thing with six basic chords and no bar chords.  

Normally, this song wouldn’t be on my personal radar, but I had a private lesson student request to learn it. Once we went through it, I thought it ended up being a very nice arrangement, so I decided to go ahead and put it up on the site.
