As promised, here is the video lesson for the second guitar solo for the Gun’s N’ Roses song “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” This one was challenging, so take it one step at a time. Slash downturns to Eb standard, so be aware of that as you proceed. Most of this song uses one of two standard minor pentatonic scales, so there is not too much to think about as far as playing over chord changes. The first lick is the one big exception to this.

I’d recommend taking this one little lick at a time and really each phrase to get the fret numbers committed to memory first. As you do this, listen to the song over and over again. This will help you get the rhythm for the licks down.

This is a tough one, but it's worth the effort.
