Guitar Stretches & Preventing Injuries

One of our Guitar Fam members recently brought up the important topic of stretching and injuries in the forum. You can check out the discussion here. Forum Post on Guitar Stretches & Injuries I've done videos on this before, but they are pretty old, and Chelsea wasn't in them.

With that in mind, we wanted to create a new video on this topic because it's so important. The older we get, the more we are prone to pain and injuries associate with playing the guitar. In this video, Chelsea and I share some of the stretches and exercises that have helped us overcome some pain and potential injuries over the years.

Of course, we are not doctors, so consult your medical professional if you are experiencing any pain. You can also leave any tips that have helped you throughout your guitar-playing career.

Have a great day, Nate & Chelsea

I do most all these stretches. I also do finger spread stretching. Helps with blues shuffle using power chords and also with minor chords while using Open D tuning that I just started messing with.
