Are You Sabotaging Your Progress on the Guitar?

Are you sabotaging your progress on the guitar? I certainly have in the past and still do from time to time. Lately, I’ve noticed a pattern in the video lessons with many of my students. They are generally drawn to more than one main area of focus. For example, they want to play lead guitar and fingerstyle. Two very different directions. They end up going back and forth, working on both. Inevitably this leads to them not progressing much in any area. No man can serve two masters! Check out the video for some ways to see real results in your playing and how to stop sabotaging your progress on the guitar.

If you have any questions or need help ironing out a practice plan, you can schedule a private lesson with me here. The first lesson is complimentary, so there is no risk or obligation.

That said, fortunately I've finally managed to reach a level that allows me to enjoy it all that like at a comfortable intermediate/advance level, but at a cost for sure. lol No doubt it's lengthen the time, days and hours I continue to put into my daily practice, also adding to those frustrating days when I'm wishing I was much further ahead then I am. Regardless, I'm still pretty content now and just happy that I do still have the strong desire, drive and discipline to stay on course. Especially when it comes to completing…
