Hey fam,
Chelsea here! As you probably know already, I'm a new mom. It's a very steep learning curve, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have a daughter.
While navigating this season, I still wanted to continue working toward my guitar goals. However, the thought of trying to fit in at least 30 minutes a day (my previous goal) felt overwhelming. Then I remembered the book Atomic Habits by James Clear and re-listened to it for encouragement (I highly recommend this book).
Inspired by the book's claim that I only need to spend 2 minutes a day on a new habit, I decided to increase that time commitment and play guitar for a whopping 5 minutes a day. I also filmed my progress for the week to see how it would go. I was pleased with what I found!
Check out our latest YouTube video to see what I practiced and how I used my limited time to continue moving toward my goals.
I hope it encourages you that you CAN take small steps toward your goals even with a limited amount of time.

I like this idea, I think I will try this approach with singing. One of my goals is to practice singing on a regular basis.
